Pecan Pie

The first pie I ever made was from a recipe I brought from Glendive, Montana. It was so easy! Pecan Pie, the recipe of my friend Kay's mother. It was Richard's favorite pie and always made for Thanksgiving.

3 eggs, beat slightly with a fork and add and mix:
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup dark Karo syrup
1/4 cup melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
3 0r 4 ozs pecans--chopped or whole or both

Pour into an unbaked shell. Bake in 325 oven about 45 minutes. Top with whipped cream or ice cream.
