Hamburger Soup

Good make-ahead dinner in the Crock Pot. This comes from my sister-in-law Mary who lives in New Mexico.

Recipe: Janet

1 lb ground beef
1 8 oz tomato sauce
1 T soy sauce
1 cup sliced celery
1 cup sliced carrots
1/4 t pepper
1/4 t oregano
1/4 t basil
1/4 t seasoned salt
1 can onion soup
3 c boiling water

Fry beef and add spices, soup, sauce and water and then add carrots and celery. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours in the crockpot. Cook separately 1 cup of macaroni and drain. Just before serving add the macaroni to the crock pot and cook on high for 10 minutes.
