Sugared Popcorn

One of the Valko's favorite quick treats.

Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a pan. Add 1 1/2 cups brown sugar and 1/2 cup water. Boil 16 minutes or to 238 degrees (soft ball stage). Works great in the microwave, cooks in just a little less than 1/2 the time. Check for soft ball stage by putting a spoon full in a cup of cold water...it should have the consistency of a carmel.

Pour over about 3 quarts of popcorn. Stir until every kernel is coated. Yummy.
