In mixing bowl, beat:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup milk
2 lightly beaten eggs
a pinch of nutmeg
Melt 1/2 stick butter in skillet with heat proof handle.
Pour batter into butter.
Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Mom used to make this on a large cookie sheet with sides so she must have tripled the recipe...
For a larger batch and thicker pancake, use 1 1/2 c. milk, 1 1/2 c. flour, 9 eggs, 1 t. vanilla and 1 stick of butter. Use a 9 x 13 pan.
